We aren't the first and we won't be the last!

Foie gras has long been considered an elite delicacy, in spite of the cruelty that is required to create it. More and more people are learning about the unimaginably horrible lives of the geese and ducks used for foie gras and are standing up to the restaurants that serve it. 

Over 27,000 people have signed this petition to let DC know that it is time to go foie gras free! But DC isn't the first place to try this. From Chicago to California to New York, people across the country have been fighting for these innocent animals for years. We will continue to stand up for these birds and with your help, we could truly see a foie gras free DC!
