For the sake of the general cohesiveness and integrity of the DCEU, we the undersigned call on Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and DC Films to reconsider re-approaching Ben Affleck on continuing as Batman in the Dark Knight's next solo film.
Mr. Ben's portrayal of our beloved caped crusader in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is the best Batman appearance we've ever gotten in live action, and although that was sullied by terrible handling of the character in Justice League due to the radical changes that took place during its production run, we believe Ben Affleck can restore Batman's gritty and broody kick-ass awesomeness in the hands of someone with Mr. Matt Reeves' caliber.
We've already had a younger Batman from the Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy and an older Batman is the right version to stick with for this take on a shared DC movie universe.
Ben is a great actor and he is our Batman! - The perfect Batman.
