Fairfax County Circuit Court Chief Judge Bruce White has granted Johnny Depp’s request for a delay in his defamation trial against ex wife Amber Heard. The trial was set for Jan. 11, which coincides with the filming schedule for another installment of the “Fantastic Beasts” series in which Depp will star, prompting his lawyers to request a continuance last month. But Heard objected to the delay.
According to Heard, she was told that Aquaman 2 would start filming in February, 2021. See that claim HERE.
Problem is that she’s all wrong.
WB wrote a letter regarding both FB3 and AM2, which says that they “require Mr. Depp to be in the United Kingdom from September 17th 2020 through the anticipated end of production in mid-February 2021.”
“As to Aquaman 2, that film will not start production any earlier that May 31, 2021.”
Notice how they name Johnny Depp and specifically address his filming schedule. But they don’t name Amber Heard or address her filming schedule. They refer to AM2 as “that film” and make no reference to Heard at all.
It also goes to show that Heard is completely out of the loop with regard to AM2 production. She thought filming was going to start in February, when in fact, production is going to start months later. Seems to me if she were going to be involved with the movie, she would have been informed by now. All the principals have to know these things early so they can schedule accordingly.
From the look of it, Heard has no idea whatsoever what’s going on with AM2. If she were returning as Mera, she’d be in the loop.
I’m taking it as a good sign that Heard’s out of AM2, straight from the horse’s mouth.
