Our little petition has passed a milestone. First we hit the 450,000 mark, then eased over into 451. It makes me happy to see so many people willing to step up and take a stand for justice for Johnny Depp, a male survivor of domestic abuse. It’s important for people to recognize that men are victims, too.

I don’t expect Amber Heard to get fired because of this petition, though it would be nice to know we made such a difference. But what this petition really does is raise awareness.

Every time we make the news, there’s a chance that somebody new might read the petition and realize what Johnny Depp really went through at the hands of Amber Heard. It’s important for him to be vindicated, but it’s also important in the broader sense that men can be the victims of not only abuse, but the unsubstantiated accusations of some spiteful abuser that wants to ruin him. Any man can fall victim to it. Anybody can.

Most recently, a guy called ENTERTAINMENT HACKER made a video about us, and he explains beautifully how the petition can help raise awareness. It’s worth a look.

So, you see, it’s a cycle. The petition raises awareness, and the press reports on us, raising awareness about us so we can raise even more awareness about the issue.

Thank you to everybody who shares this petition, whether it’s through the media, or one person sharing the link. Each and every one of you is helping bring justice for Johnny, and raise awareness of a very important issue whose time has come.

You guys rock.
