#MeToo activist Amanda De Cadenet has withdrawn her support for “close” personal friend Amber Heard. Amanda says that she feels “used” and “misled” by Amber Heard after hearing heard abuse ex Johnny Depp in audio tapes.
Amber Heard was expecting the long-time women’s rights activist to testify on her behalf Johnny Depp’s upcoming libel suit against the UK tabloid the Sun, which starts in just 12 days, and in Depp’s looming defamation suit against Amber Heard herself. Now, that’s not going to happen.
It remains unclear whether or not De Cadenet will testify on behalf of Johnny Depp.
If you recall, Amanda De Cadenet (center) was pictured with a smiling and bruise-free Amber Heard just hours after she (Heard) claimed that she was brutally attacked. But said nothing.
And those tapes were released in January 2020, six months ago, but De Cadenet said nothing. Still, the fact that one of Heard’s staunchest supporters and a leader in the #MeToo movement has withdrawn support for Heard is a HUGE development. The closer the court dates get, the more rats jump off of Heard’s sinking ship.
