The DC Comics Character Superman is often referred to as a "Big Blue Boy Scout" due to his strong moral code. Unfortunately, the Boy Scouts of America discriminates against Gays, Bisexuals, Agnostics, and Atheists in its membership. By associating Superman with the Boy Scouts, this seems to give tacit approval to the Boy Scout of America's discriminatory practice, and seems contrary to the values of Superman.
