The world of comic books is constantly being accused of not providing enough representation of strong women, which is absurd. Instead of pulling a "Marvel" and swapping genders of known male characters, why not use existing female characters to their full potential!?

Enter Poison Ivy.

She's been a villan and plot tool for years, despite having a solid background story and tons of room to grow. Harley Quinn, who used to not even exist without being a sub-plot for The Joker, has had her own ongoing for a while now. Why has Ivy gotten the snub? She's strong, compassionate, complex, and not always a villan. DC needs to give ALL female characters a shot, not just the poster children for domestic abuse.
