This petition is enunciated by DON BOSCO INSTITUTE OF TECHONOLOGY Parents to proffer on circular of fee payment in this pandemic.

Upliftment of education society by considering the fees structure as per current pandemic situation & drop in economic condition of every individuals.

• Due to this Pandemic situation we are not using most of the college resources like Labs, Events, Study Spaces, workshop etc. and there is compromise in education as everything is online.
• We are paying a huge fee for online education without using much resources as compare to Normal Situation moreover our wards didn't have proper classes, most of us didn't even get to attend because of network issues and other natural calamities from the Mid of March.
•    To charge only the College fee in installment until the pandemic ends.
•    To charge a nominal fee only for the online classes as Tuition fee until the pandemic ends / till our wards attend the campus physically and all the classes are normal.
•    Previous year fee for hostel, accommodation, tuition and transportation charges those who had already paid in full, from which six month of lock down period fees should be adjusted with the current year college fees as before lock down every student was sent home.
•    Those who had not paid the fees for hostel accommodation, transportation and tuition fee till date they should not be asked to pay the fees for this six month lock down period.
•    Extending the date for submission of fees on monthly basis considering to pay on short notice is difficult for every individual student.
•    Since all the students are in their native places and hometowns tend to save university a huge amount of maintenance cost caused in living situation in the university like water, electricity and many more factors to consider in reduction of the total tuition fees.
•    Hostel, accommodation and transportation fees for the new session/semester to be waived off fully.
•    50% or more rebate in the next term fees.
•    Asking for clear and detail statement of what is being deducted and what is not.
•     It’s not easy for all of us to pay this much amount even most of the students have study Loans in their batch. DBIT has students from all over the country and everyone seems to have an economic crisis in view of this pandemic. So we kindly request the management to consider our request regarding the fee deduction.
•    Just like we are ready for studying online, college should also consider the same aspects and make a considerable change in the Tuition fee.
