It is not easy for dog owners to travel with Deutsche Bahn: not only there is no easy, few-clicks way to buy the ticket for your pet online, but it also is very expensive – you always pay half the price of your ticket!

In many European countries, pets can travel with their humans for FREE, or just paying a cheap fix cost ticket (for example, 5€ in Italy), thus making travelling with pets convenient and relaxing, and also a last-minute decision.

Taking our pets with us should be easy and affordable for everyone and not only for those privileged enough to pay for a ticket that can go up to a hundred euros or more. One of Europe's largest train companies should actively encourage people to make travelling by train always their first and best choice, to help fight the climate crises and the dramatic economic situation.
