Withdraw their sexist Tui TV ads

Kia ora koutou,
I just signed the following petition addressed to: Brian Blake, Managing Director of DB Breweries (owners of Tui Brewery).
DB Breweries must withdraw your sexist Tui TV ads which demean women.
• The Tui brewery ads feature women in skimpy clothes and sexualized positions, who are depicted as even more stupid than the bungling men who manage to infiltrate the brewery. The ads portray women as stupid; encourage viewers to judge women on how they look, and to laugh at them.
• The ads use humour to mimic old sexist attitudes (like women are men’s playthings). However, whether the ads are funny or not, demeaning women is harmful.
• Today, women and girls are bombarded with images of half-naked women - presented only as a collection of sexualised body parts. These images have a corrosive effect on women’s sense of self worth and contribute to an environment which supports violence against women. New Zealand has an alarming rate of sexual and domestic violence against women, which Tui should take a stand against, particularly given the known role of alcohol as an enabler of aggression and violence.
Sincerely,
[Your name]
