I am doing this pettition to let all the creative people at our fine ARTS school express themselves however they want. My friend had a brightish red color of hair and after about two or three weeks of having that hair color she was told to change it. But, I can name a lot of people with bright red hair that have not been told the same. Also, you say it is a distraction. Its the same thing as wearing a neon shirt or new shoes. It strikes up a conversation and then it passes. I can name a lot of people who would dye their hair if they had the chance. We are restricted to normal boring colors. Yet you are telling us to be different and unique. Since so many people want to dye their hair, it would be normal and it won't be distracting. Please. Let us be who we are.
