Recently,  a story of how UNF mishandled a sexual misconduct case came to light.  When UNF Equal Opportunity and Inclusion (EOI) office was presented with the situation, UNF faculty members lacked urgency, failed to provide resources, and accommodations for the student who reported: sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, pregnancy discrimination, and a hostile learning environment. The student was forced to have unwanted contact with her abuser for one whole week. At that time, the student was subjected to name-calling, harsh comments, bullying, and fear for her safety. The University did not open an investigation, and another organization had the abuser removed from his position.

 UNF and their EOI office need to be held accountable. 

1. Demand the University open a full investigation into this case.

2. Have the Title IX director and coordinator removed from their positions. 

3. Provide student accommodation and resources to deal with the trauma she has endured the UNF campus.
