7 Periods At Clayton Valley Charter High School

The Issue

Currently, Clayton Valley Charter High School only provides 6 periods of classes a day. This makes it stressful for students to manage all their classes and fill the A-G requirements. A lot of academy students have to let go of an elective (usually P.E or a language) and push it to their senior year, or drop out. Making CVCHS have 7 periods a day (like majority of high schools) will make students less worried about getting the credits they need. Students can also choose electives that interest them instead of enrolling in them for the credits.
