Students living in the dorms at UH Manoa probably know all too well about the laundry theft problem. No matter what you do, somehow the laundry always gets stolen - from individual pieces to entire loads. The laundry does not lock and there are no seats or solid wifi connections to sit and do work while waiting over 2 hours for it to finish. Personally, I have had over $1000 worth of clothes stolen, and the University has done nothing about it. This is why I am proposing the installation of cameras in the laundry room, to further prevent theft and catch whoever is doing this. I don't see how this could be any problem for the university, it is the LEAST they can do.
