Push for Anti-Racism education and Mascot Change in South Colonie Schools
The Issue
South Colonie Highschool has removed MOST racist memorabilia, however, there is more to do. A contest or submission form for a new mascot would allow for the past mascot to be further rid of. Please sign in support of such suggestion. Our schools are also teeming with racism, among many other problems. This is completely and totally inappropriate. Anti-Racism should be taught to ALL students and staff. I suggest a virtual assembly, which the entire school should attend, or, multiple videos detailing Anti-Racism to be shown in schools. The purpose of this petition is to allow for David Perry to see just how many people support Anti-Racism, and how many people want IMMEDIATE change and replacement of our school mascot.
