Bring Thinkpad Retro

Two years back on 25 June 2015, David Hill, Vice President, Chief Design Officer & Distinguished Designer of Lenovo Corp. Thinkpad division shared his dream of creating a Thinkpad Laptop of classic design but with latest specifications.

A dream laptop of classic keyboard, 4:3 aspect ratio display, legendary thinkpad track point with all Thinkpad durability and ruggedness. Where all the current breed of laptops are removing functionality for the sake of their profitability, David's dream of bringing back true state of Thinkpad quality gave us this fathom hope. 

Please make this dream true. We all true Thinkpad fans are waiting for this. 

I made this petition to channelise the excitement and hope of Thinkpad fans to a more constructive request. I am using Thinkpad x220 for last several years. I want to upgrade to a better item not an inferior one. And I am not the only one. I know that. If any one feels similar pain and agony, please support this cause. 

PS: I do not know how to contact David Hill or Lenovo for this regard. But I hope this movement will cause enough noise to get some attention. This is my pursuit of happiness.
