In her position as Chief Executive Officer of Charlton Athletic Football Club, Katrien Meire has overseen the relegation of the club through the appointment of a series of inept managers; and the alienation of thousands of fans and many staff members at the club. Comments made to the press on multiple occasions by Ms Meire have revealed her lack of understanding of the English Football League and lack of respect for fans. As such her appointment to the FA council is a disgrace and an outrage, and must be reversed.
