Alabama has been under an Emergency Order since March 2020. Each time Governor Kay Ivey extends the order,she harms the economic health of our great state. The Governor extended the order for another 5 weeks on 8/27/20. It is time for our state leaders to put an end to her decisions without a vote of our state legislative body.   Please join me and fellow Alabama Citizens  and demand the ending of the Emergency Order.  

Questions that I believe deserve answers from our state leaders:     

1. When will this end?
2. Who ever thought that the governor could execute an emergency order for 6 months without oversight?
3. Where are the checks and balances with our government?
4. How many businesses will be gone forever, because of a state order?
5. How can this process continue to take place without a vote?
6.   How can an non-elected official,Dr. Scott Harris and  Dr. Mark Wilson, make decisions?
7. Why can't a Special Session be called to over rule the State Order?
8. How is this constitutional?
9. Is is true that the Alabama Legislators will not meet until February 2021? 

     In closing, I am really worried about our local businesses, particularly restaurants, entertainment venues and bars. This will have a devastating impact on our local economies, which in turn will hurt our schools, infrastructure and the basic services our cities provide. Please let's demand answers and responses from our state leaders.
