ARMTA executive and committee members met by conference call on July 8th with the Director of Student Records of Alberta Education and other representatives of Alberta Education. Our primary concern, to have the mark portion for Music 10, 20 and 30-level private music reinstated, was discussed, and Alberta Education informed us they will look into possible solutions. As of April 2015, RCM and CC credits are listed on the Alberta transcript under "Other Credits" with the number of credits but no mark. We are aware under the present circumstances that this could cause students difficulty with their applications to post secondary institutions, even if private study courses were completed prior to the decision.
