Grafton cable has a long history of poor service for its customers. This company has no competitor in Grafton, which gives them no motivation to upgrade there service.

I pay 60$/month for cable internet at my house in the village of Grafton. I have the fastest speed that GLWB offers which is advertised as 8Mbits. When I do a speed test im actually getting 0.5-2Mbits. When I call to ask why my service is so slow they say that I have tests that hit 2Mbits and that is acceptable for them to not come out and investigate.

This day in age everything is online and we don't have cable we watch everything on the internet. This service is so poor that I have been forced to upgrade my cellular data plan to unlimited (80$ more/month) and use cellular data when I'm at home. Which I have AT&T and inside my house I have 2 bars (not great service) but it is still several time faster than using my "Broadband Internet" This is the year 2018 and I can barely watch anything on the internet without interruption. 

GLWB has had a monopoly on Grafton for long enough. It is time to get a new service provider in Grafton to challenge them and give Grafton residents another better choice for cable/internet.
