Hello to all 199, 543 of you!!!
Ooo we are so close to the mighty 200,000!
We’re just popping in to share some good news, some bad news and to ask you to put some dates in your diaries.
First of all some really wonderful news!!
We want to send out a HUGE well done to Lee Craigie, Scottish mountain bike champion, for racing so brilliantly and coming 7th in the Commonwealth Games. We sponsor Lee thanks to your incredible generousity and she rode with No More Page 3 on her kit. We can’t tell you how proud this makes us and how inspired we are by her. http://leecraigie.com/2014/07/30/7th-place-glasgow2014-cathkinbraes-mountain-bike-race-yesterday-had-the-race-of-my-life-and-owe-that-to-the-crowd-thank-you/
And now, some not so wonderful news...
Despite so many of you supportive Co-op members voting overwhelmingly in different regions for them to put The Sun and Star on the top shelf and stop advertising in The Sun, the Co-op have decided not to take any notice.

But, of course, we’re not stopping!!
If you are as cross as we are about this then please feel free to let Co-op know your feelings. They are currently collecting feedback on erm.... Fairness....(yes you read it right) here http://co-opletstalk.co.uk/topic-fairness/...

We received a great note of support this week from The Children’s Commissioner for Wales. “It’s time to stop accepting and start challenging this content.”

And now for those dates in your diary!
On Sunday 17th August our two favourite football teams go head to head for the No More Page 3 Derby!!
Nottingham Forest Ladies FC and Cheltenham Town Ladies FC both of whom we sponsor will be playing this Sunday at 2pm in Nottingham. Do go along to whoop and cheer! #kiton

On Sunday 24th August we will be 2 years old!!
And because The Sun is stuck in 1970 we’ll be having a little 1970s inspired party picnic. We’ll be outside The Sun offices, in London, from 2-4pm. Come along to nibble cheese and pineapple on sticks, enjoy a piece of cake and applaud ourselves for our merry and relentless campaigning over the past 2 years- https://www.facebook.com/events/1439830929638602/
So with the #mighty200000 coming soon and our birthday coming up, we would just like to say that we love public declarations of birthday greetings and congratulations!! (Cheeky aren’t we?!) Do tweet @nomorepage3 or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/NoMorePage3 them!
And for now we’ll be off…but first a massive THANK YOU for being part of this campaign,
Lucy, Lisa, Sarah, Sarah, Stephanie, Angela, Pippa, Jo, Jo, Yas, Anne-Louise, Brenna, Ceris, Asa, Sian and Kathryn
