We humbly request the Hon David Coleman to relax the 8107 and 8607 conditions for employees holding a subclass 457 and subclass 482 temporary employer-sponsored visa.

By relaxing these conditions, it will allow the employer to stand down the sponsored employees, the visa holders, for a maximum of six months and find alternative employment until they can resume their employment as the impact of the COVID-19 eases.

We ask the minister to kindly reduce the SAFF levy as this will enable us, employers, to hire overseas workers without further financial burden.
