Due to Geography, Greenland is located above Canada. With France's Ligue 1 having football club in the domestic state of Monaco (AS Monaco), the same can be applied here in the Canadian Premier League, with a team in Greenland. A very small chance for it to be the CPL First Division, but it can be possible to participate in the 2nd division, if the commissioner decides to implement promotion-relegation, when the league hits 14-16 clubs.

In Greenland, football is the national sport. The semi-autonomous country within the kingdom of Denmark has less than 60,000 people spread across the edges of a 2 million sq km island. The Greenland national team is a full member of the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (ConIFA) but mainly participate in the Biennial Island Games football tournament, where the men have been runner’s up twice and the women have a 2nd and 3rd place to their name. The men’s team proved unsuccessful in the FIFI Wild Cup and the ELF cup (precursors to ConIFA).

Greenland isn’t able to join UEFA, not being independent (despite legally being more independent than the Gibraltar and the Faroe Islands, both UEFA members) and FIFA would raise similar objections. As their only current flights are via Denmark then the future doesn’t look bright for them, but new airports may allow them into CONCACAF.

Greenland can prove CONCACAF, that football is possible in the region, and it can have the ability to compete in Gold Cup, Nations League, and eventual FIFA affiliation in the future (10-20 years), to participate in the FIFA World Cup.
