UConn is intending to move the Jasper Howard Memorial from its current place of honor under the scoreboard in Rentschler Field to a place under the concourse to make room for a bar.  While we do not disagree with the addition of this Coors Club, moving the statue from its place of honor is shortsighted and disrespectful to the legacy of this young man and his team as well as the traditions of the UConn football family.  Mr. Benedict, move the bar not the statue!
