Just this week, Tesco, one of UK's major supermarket chains, has announced a phase-out date to stop selling cage eggs. They are joining Marks and Spencers and Waitrose in the UK, Aldi and Woolworths in Australia, Krogers and Wal-mart in the US and all Austrian and Danish supermarkets who have all committed to phasing out the sale of caged eggs. Despite all the pressure that customers and the caring people that have signed this petition have put on Countdown NZ, they are NOT LISTENING!
