Due to the pandemic , students at BCPS now have to do virtual school, But now students are already feelings drained and school just started. The format we’re doing has affected students mental health from home and we’re getting work handed to us everyday with a due date being at 11:59pm, Sitting in one place for 7-8 hours staring at a computer screen and still having to stare at a screen until all our work is done. Plenty of students can’t keep up with their work, play sports, have jobs, and have to take care of their sibling and school hours and work is getting in the way and plenty of students are slacking and started to give up because of how stressful the way bcps does virtual school is. Keeping 4 classes a semester is great and we should definitely keep that, We have should a different class once a day with keeping Wednesday an independent work day, and instead of getting assignments everyday we get 2 assignments assigned per week for each class due at the end of the week. This is effective because more students have time to do their work and aren’t stressed and teacher won’t have to keep grading so many late assignments.
