Cirque Du Freak, also known as The Saga of Darren Shan, is a 12-volume horror novel series written by Irish author Darren O'Shaughnessy (who goes by the alias Darren Shan) from 2000-2004. The novel was adapted into a manga series from 2006-2009 by manga artist Takahiro Arai, and published by Yen Press in the West. It received relatively positive reviews from Western audiences and critics, and expanded the existing fan base of the series. The purpose of this petition is to gather support for the development of an anime series based on this manga, in order to introduce the story to a larger audience of anime fans and provide it with the attention it greatly deserves. I believe the best animation studio to produce this series would be A-1 Pictures, Inc, given it's history of developing several successful anime series including Black Butler, Kaguya-Sama: Love is War, Blue Exorcist, and several others.
