The Knee Move was an iconic and much needed visual addition to the Grafton High School Sousaphone section. Making its first appearance in the 2017 show titled “Flight,” the section would drop down to one knee and stay stationary whilst playing through the show. In its absence, we all feel as if a part of us has stayed behind with last year’s show, and that the new freshman class will never have the chance to experience something so majestic. Rest assured, there are many benefits to the infamous visual coming back; the section will have an easier time playing together, and the various scores will be higher all thanks to such a breathtaking visual. If you’re a person who can bring about change with this situation and you’re reading this, please bring back the Knee Move, we all miss it.
