This year, Darlington's Council Tax is set to rise above £1,500 a year for band D homes and above £1,000 a year for band A homes, with another 1.99% increase for all homes. Central government is offering an extra £380,000 a year to Darlington if Council Tax isn't increased in 2015. We call on Darlington Councillors to vote against another Council Tax rise and instead accept the £380,000 for our town.
