In 2008 our company Felix Design was published in Design Space Magazine out of Chicago. This house I am using for a rescue compound I designed and built and is the only house here that has been published in any magazine. And Christine has nieces and nephews who work as youth ministers at UVA college and nurses at the Childrens Hospital For the Kings Daughters. I/we are not some crazy people who have no family. But HERE we are considered crazy for helping cats while cat haters control the Sheriff's Dept. and County Board. HERE we have watched every imaginable horror done to the cats and other hated animals. Our mistake is we believed the system and it's propaganda. What we found out is it's all a lie and the corruption is beyond fixing. In the process these people destroyed our lives while making us watch 59 cats we loved killed-cats we could have saved. We do not regret saving the cats we saved but they do not make up for the 59 who died. And even though we are being attacked,threatened,bombed,ridiculed and humiliated we still aren't sorry we tried to help the cats. But we do not understand why or how this could go on in America and why there is no one to stop it. People need to be aware these corrupt politicians destroyed our lives,helped cat haters kill our cats,and this could happen to you too if nothing ever gets done to expose this.Sheriff Doughtie,Deputy Ruth,the Dare County Board Of Commissioners did this to us and haven't finished making us suffer. This petition is as much about exposing the corruption here as saving the cats. For 59 it's too late!
