As trade unionists in Cambridge. We call on the new Labour MP for Cambridge Daniel Zeichner to reconsider his decision to nominate Yvette Cooper in the Labour leadership and instead back Jeremy Corbyn.

We do not believe Labour lost the election because it was too left wing. Millions of votes in Scotland, Wales and England were lost to Labour's left; the SNP, Greens and Plaid Cymru. In the last parliament Labour was strongest when proposing its most radical elements; from the energy price freeze to fighting Murdoch.

Only Jeremy Corbyn can allow those involved in the Labour and trade union movement to have a real choice as to who the next Labour leader is.
