I have been shopping at Trader Joe's since 1978 but now I cannot buy most of your products because they all contain Dirty Palm Oil. You even sell it in a bottle as a cooking oil. I am appealing to you to replace this destructive oil with an Eco friendly oil. Anyone involved with or purchasing Dirty Palm Oil has blood on their hands. Palm oil exists in thousands of products. Experts conclude that 50% of the products people use contains this oil. Palm Oil production is responsible for the deforestation of more than 40 Million acres of land in Indonesia & Malaysia (85%) and Africa (15%) so far. The process of deforestation emits carbon dioxide (10 % of the worlds emissions come from this process) which is the leading cause of global warming. The deforestation of all of this land also takes away the homes of Bornean Orangutans, Sumatran Tigers, Elephants and other indigenous endangered animals. Many species can only be found in these regions and could be gone forever if this continues.
