Reinstate Robert Griffin III and Change the Redskins Culture Immediately

Reinstate Robert Griffin III and Change the Redskins Culture Immediately
The Issue
There is something undeniably wrong with the culture of the Washington Redskins that has seen a bad team get even worse in recent history. As owner of the team and an astute businessman, Mr. Snyder must understand that the fate of his team relies on the support of its fans. Those die-hard fans that form the undersigned list are growing increasingly impatient with the mediocrity of late and want something to be done about it.
There are two very simple reasons for the recent failures of the team. The hiring of Jay Gruden as head coach, and the benching of our star franchise quarterback, Robert Griffin III. As of this writing, we are 2-4 at the beginning of Gruden's second season and nothing appears to have been improved in any regard from last year's miserable outing. Not to mention the fact that Gruden was specifically hired to help coach up Griffin and improve his performance. The very fact that Griffin was benched indefinitely in lieu of a second-rate backup quarterback indicates that Gruden's tenure as head coach has been a dismal failure. He was given one job -- and failed. All while making pitiful excuses for the back up that has shown absolutely no improvement. Gruden's incompetent coaching decisions has deeply divided your fan base and it is ruining the entire culture around this team and locker room. Please find a coach that is capable of putting together a winning team with Scott McCloughan that works with Robert Griffin III, not against him.
This petition seeks to begin a culture change in Redskins Park by calling for two changes:
1) the immediate reinstatement of Robert Griffin III as our starting quarterback; and
2) the dismissal of a head coach who has proven to be inconsistent, inadequate and uninspired.
We, the fans, are unwilling to continue accepting the substandard and wholly unacceptable level of coaching that has come from our current head coach. We ask that you, Mr. Snyder, act quickly to return the culture of winning to the Washington Redskins by enacting the changes that the fans desire.
Humbly,
Washington Redskins Fans
