Entry by donation The Crew from WOTCH (Wildlife of the Central Highlands) will be speaking about their recent experiences helping to protect areas of Toolangi by detecting the iconic Leadbeater's possum through their survey work. Come along to see their footage of Leadbeaters possums deep in the Toolangi forest ! **More Guest Speakers & Musicians to be announced** Special Unrealeased Screening of Where the Giants Were, A Tale of Toolangi film ART AUCTION 4.30pm the mission : We are raising money to educate public about the devestating going on in Toolangi State Forests and central highlands region only 60 Kilometres from Melbourne !! There are people in the forest spending immense amounts of time and energy surveying for endangered animal species in the areas about to be logged. This event is to raise much needed funds and awareness for the Wild Life of the Central Highlands (WOTCH) Survey Crew who are defending our native forest from wholesale industrial destruction. https://www.facebook.com/VICWOTCH/ Funds are needed to buy survey equipment such as GPS devices, Torches & expensive thermal imaging cameras.
