As done in WA already, legislation to set aside waivers signed by victims of childhood sexual abuse who signed legally binding waivers for pathetic amounts of money such as those who went through the Melbourne Response. These waivers are being used by the Catholic church to prevent fair justice and causing untold misery on victims. This is a key recommendation of the Royal Commission and needs to be done immediately.
