Daniella Cavallaro started this petition to Daniel Andrews and

Victorian Government assistance for small to medium businesses and sole traders, under the circuit breaker restrictions in response to COVID-19 continues to neglect and exclude providing any support for sole traders without employees or if your business sits under the $75,000 threshold.

Applications are open for up to $7,000 in grant funding for businesses affected by the latest COVID-19 snap lockdown, however under the Business Costs Assistance Program Guidelines all applicants must be registered for GST or have employees.

Many of us are sole traders and our businesses that have been completely forgotten about, our livelihoods have been completely torn apart, and have been adversely affected by COVID-19.

We must stand up and be heard, it’s imperative that Daniel Andrews puts in place a grant for sole traders, in such unprecedented times.

Extend the financial support already being given to businesses that earn over $75,000 or more, or have employees to also include small businesses run by sole traders that are currently disqualified from receiving financial support due to the tight eligibility criteria that excludes small businesses from Victoria's lockdown payments.

Small businesses are the heart and soul of our Victorian economy and communities, yet so often forgotten and overlooked, now, for the fourth time! We must stand up and be heard, it's imperative that there is financial support for small business owners and sole traders, in such unprecedented times.

Be fair to all Victorians and provide financial support for ALL small businesses and sole traders in Victoria!

Please sign and share to help us all get through this.
