Please Dan Andrews while we appreciate retail groomers being allowed to return to work, this does not solve the problem of welfare. Many dogs and/ or owners are unable to travel to a groomer, these are the most vulnerable cases. We believe there has been misunderstanding on how mobile groomers and home based salons operate, both of these are seperate premises and dont require access to homes or contact with customers. Mobile salons are salons on wheels, dogs are collected from the backyard. Home based groomers generally operate out of a garage or seperate building on their property with a seperate entrance that can and would be made covid safe. Help the most vulnerable people and animals, please allow ALL groomers to open as of step 1, 28th September
