If that is confronting to you, it is nothing compared to how confronting it can be to feel powerless. 

I do not know a female who hasn’t been sexually assaulted at least once. 

Shall we prepare our young daughters and sisters at a younger age perhaps? Maybe everybody should have that conversation with their children of the inevitabilities of life.

Isn’t it about time that we put pressure on all venues to provide a safe and sexual abuse free environment  for everybody to enjoy? They provide everything else, including the recipe to easy, accessible chances for men to prey out victims. 

Clearly, men across the world are just not getting the hint. No Consent? No Touch?

The problem cannot be the solution, therefore, this petition is aimed to put pressure on every single venue across Australia to implement and police a Zero Tolerance policy for Sexual Abuse. 

The policies would include but are not limited to: 

No questions asked if a staff member needs a patron to leave 

Mandatory police call by the Venue if there is a report of sexual abuse 

Immediate shut down of services if there are failings in policy and Sexual Abuse occurs 

Large fines to venues who don’t police their policy 

A list of Venues refusing/implementing a policy should be available 

Sexual Abuse response training supplied to all security and staff 

This problem is not going away. With the outlook of Covid in Australia and the potential of busy venues opening towards capacity soon enough, we have the chance to make a big change.
