Problem
As the market for MMA expands, the demand for quality entertainment before and between rounds is expanding beyond the talent of the existing ‘ring-girl’ tradition. This provides an exquisite opportunity for the UFC to lead all mma organisations into the future by replacing ring-girls with mimes.
The art of the mime is long neglected, but can be brought into its rightful place in the pantheon of the arts if the UFC used mimes - instead of ring-girls - to hold aloft round numbers.

Solution
At the start of each round, one or more mimes will scurry into the Octagon and mime round numbers at random.  The fighters will then enter the Octagon/leave their stools, chase the mimes out of the Octagon and begin fighting.
