Please consider implementing a new law: A parent who is a victim of their child's crime (sexual in nature) need not pay child support to the state or the other parent .

The Issue

I was a victim of a sexual assault/molestastion by my own son. I was not the only one; there were other family members and unsuspecting girls at the middle and highschool. I turned him in and he was charged by the police and the courts (with 27 counts). Now a court order was issued that I pay for the person who assaulted me over and over $700 a month for child support. Where is the victims justice??? This is an unusual case and unusual request, but NO VICTIM, despite the relation should pay their assailant and have to relieve that memory over and over; everytime they go to work just to struggle to make ends meet, knowing they can't afford their own bills because they are paying the person who violated their body. How many other women is this happening to and are too afraid to fight back, to stand up for their rights? Why must we continue to be a victim over and over. Currently there is NO law in place regarding this and protecting the victims, no cases to even compare it to and present to the courts. This case is a first of its kind. A new law needs to be established in order to help those victims like myself. I refuse to continue being a victim.
