TRADER JOE'S: PLEASE USE 100%BIODEGRADABLE, RECYCLED PACKAGING

TRADER JOE'S: PLEASE USE 100%BIODEGRADABLE, RECYCLED PACKAGING
The Issue
TRADER JOE'S: Please package all of your products--- produce (lemons, lettuces, oranges, potatoes, tomatoes…), nuts, frozen goods etc. in 100% RECYCLABLE AND BIODEGRADABLE PACKAGING to ensure a sustainable and closer to zero-waste business model.
As a species, we undoubtedly need to acknowledge the affects we have caused to our biosphere and personal health via our plastic usage--- who better to take the the first steps to addressing and irradiating this problem than one of the top ranked grocery stores in the United States of America.
Trader Joe's could set the standard of which direction our food systems need to move in in order to ensure sustainable business practices and protect our personal and environmental health.
With severe detriment already caused by our plastic usage, as seen by the documentary Midway Island, and extensive research of the garbage patches, such as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, it is blatantly obvious that this is a dire and highly urgent matter for all conscious companies to address.
Please consider being the pioneer in the mainstream market to remove waste and plastics from your products. Also, adding plastic-bag-recycling-bins into your stores will ensure that patrons with plastic bags can have a safe place for recycling.
Thank You Kindly for your Care,
