This petition is important to the family and community because the life of our friend and family member James Harper has been taken away. He was an unarmed man that was gunned down by a Dallas Police officer. It is felt by the community that there could have been other ways of stopping Mr. Harper from fleeing. He was running scared and fearing for his life quite obviously from the officer. The officer had no right to murder him. We are praying that justice can be served. We know he can't be brought back to us, but the least that is asked of the family and community is that JUSTICE IS SERVED and served fairly.
