Dallas neighbors — are you experiencing rodents getting into your home?
Several households in our area appear to be dealing with young rodents getting inside homes. Because this may be affecting more than one property, I have started a petition asking the City of Dallas to investigate whether there are neighborhood conditions contributing to the problem.
The request asks the City to look at possible sources such as vacant properties, abandoned structures, alleys, overgrown areas, illegal dumping, trash accumulation, drainage areas, and other places that may provide rodents with food or shelter.
If you've experienced a similar problem, please share your experience in the comments. You can also review the petition
The goal is to document how widespread the issue is and ask the appropriate City departments to investigate the underlying source instead of treating every affected household as an unrelated case.
