Have Broward County help fund no kill animal shelters!

Have Broward County help fund no kill animal shelters!

The Issue

No kill animal shelters in Broward County do not have much money to run on. One in particular, Animal Aid, in Oakland Park Florida, is only open Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Friday. They have around 2 bunnies, 30 dogs, and 70 cats. They cannot afford to be open or pay there employees these days, they run on volunteers and donations, and only have one washer for their many animals. It is even more expensive to run a shelter like this as they do not euthanize the unadoptable animals and only put them to sleep when medically necessary.  If we can get this to the attention of the Broward County Finance Department all of these animals can be taken care of better, the rescue can be open all days of the week (which will create a higher chance of these beautiful creatures being adopted and living the happy life that they deserve), and more awareness will be shown to these hopefully soon to be pets. If this does not reach their attention, this rescue shelter is endanger of going out of business and these animals will be rendered homeless, some of them for the second time. All it takes is one click to help make a difference, one click to help these animals, and one click to push this world on a better path, for all species, so I urge you to sign this petition. Thank you!
