Krispy Kreme committed to going cage-free by 2026. A&W remains silent.

Dear supporters,

We are another step closer to a cage-free world. Last month, Krispy Kreme, one of the world's most prominent donut chains, committed to stop sourcing eggs from caged hens globally by 2026. This announcement has the potential to reduce the suffering of millions of hens who are confined in cages in Thailand.

Battery cages are one of the cruelest practices in animal agriculture. Many companies have realized this and have moved away from cages already. A&W, however, fails to follow this global trend.

By not announcing its global cage-free commitment like many other companies, A&W is choosing to let millions of hens producing eggs for their supply chain live a life of misery inside cages.

If you agree with us that A&W should start taking animal welfare seriously, please help us help hens by sharing this petition far and wide, and invite your friends who have not signed the petition to do so.
