BBQ Plaza and Joom Zap Hut have said NO to cages!

You read that right, there’s another cage-free commitment!

Within a month, there are three new cage-free commitments. Last month there’s an announcement from Minor Food (owner of Burger King, the Coffee Club, The Pizza Company, Dairy Queen, and Swensen’s), and Krispy Kreme.

To end the month of July, Food Passion, a Thai company who operates Thai brands like BBQ Plaza and Joom Zap Hut, has already announced the commitment to stop sourcing eggs from cage farms. This makes Food Passion one of the first Thai brands to announce the cage-free policy! This highlights how multinational brand like A&W from the US is ignoring the animal welfare standards in Thailand and Indonesia. Despite more than 1,6000 of people  asking them to do better for hens already.
