Publish the shocking murder of Nahid Alamanea's murder on the front page of the Daily Mail

The Issue

On the 18th of June 2014, around 10.40am a Muslim woman in Colchester, just outside Essex, was stabbed in broad daylight SIXTEEN TIMES, because of the way she was dressed. She was murdered for being a Muslim in the UK. Yes we all have heard about Lee Rigby , ex soldier who was murdered by two Muslim men. It was all over the news everywhere, every newspaper you picked up, every radio station you listened to and every news channel you would flick through. Why is it that we all heard about this incident of a 'racist' attack or call it 'religious attack' yet no one has ever heard of the Muslim woman who got stabbed 16 times for the way she was dressed. More so, yes the shocking stabbing a of the Muslim woman hit the newspaper, but only on a side bar of a page. What really stunned me was the very clever way how they chose their words to describe the woman. Every one knows that a muslim woman dresses in an Abaaya, (long coat muslims wear) and a hijab, (headscarf), and niq'aab, (which is the material that covers a Muslim woman's face, designed only for the eyes to be on show), everyone know that because Muslim men and woman have been the highlight on the news channel regarding the ban off the dress code in some countries. Yet when Daily Mail described the woman, they did not address her as a Muslim woman, but a Saudi Arabian. To my fellow petitioners that do not know the difference, there is no difference between a muslimah (Muslim person) and a Saudi Arabian. Infact Saudi Arabia is where the religion began. Daily Mail did not address her as a Muslim woman. This is wrong and needs to change, because the MEDIA has control of what they want the world to know, see and believe, and if they are not giving out the right and fair information, people are getting the wrong idea of Muslims. This is not fair. Yes what happened to Lee Rigby was indescribable and cruel, and yes two Muslim men were behind it. Muslims can say, that was a coincidence, just how many can say that Nahid Almanea, the lady who got stabbed 16 times, was not a racist attack, it just so happened to be that she was walking on that particular area at the wrong time. This could also be true, that the brutal murder of Nahid Almanea was not a racist attack, but why did it not get as much publicity as Lee Rigby? Even more, I have provided you a link to watch the video as some of our brothers decide to ask some of the journalist outside of Daily Mail directly about this incident, and it is really shocking! I urge you to watch this video please, and I urge you to sign this petition so that we can let the world know that injustice happens everywhere. Muslims are not always at fault, and Muslims also have to go through the hardship of losing someone because of race or religion. We need Daily Mail start publishing fairly. Not to hide what the truth is, and not to mislead information. After you watch the video, it will be very clear to you and I need you to sign this petition so we an be heard. The reaction from the Dail Mail team left most of us speechless. Please spare a few seconds to literally click on the 'sign petition' button and support us in our campaign for fairness and justice.
