DA Thomas P. Zugibe and Presiding Judge: EMERGENCY PETITION URGING PRISON-TIME FOR A MASS-MOLESTER
DA Thomas P. Zugibe and Presiding Judge: EMERGENCY PETITION URGING PRISON-TIME FOR A MASS-MOLESTER
The Issue
Oct. 24, '13 *** 20 Mar-Cheshvan, 5774
We citizens of Rockland County respectfully urge Rockland County DA Zugibe and the Judge hearing the Moishe Turner probation-violation case to do all they can to ensure that convicted child-molester Moishe Turner (residing at 65 Decatur Ave, in Spring Valley, NY) does the most prison time possible -- as warranted by the finding of facts and the Law -- without reducing his probationary sentence.
Turner is widely known to have molested many, many youth over not
years but DECADES. Tragically, he kept evading arrest -- until '11.
Being a long-term recidivist molester, Turner will continue to pose a lethal threat to our children as long as he walks the streets. He must be incarcerated, not primarily as a punishment for the many evils he perpetrated in the past, but mainly to protect the public in the future.
After the excellent work done by Ramapo Police detectives leading up to Turner's arrest over two years ago, it was a travesty that Turner did not see prison time. This was apparently due, in great measure, to pressure/intimidation of family members of the victim, perpetrated by Turner's advocates.
Now there is an opportunity to ensure public safety in some small
measure. It is imperative that this opportunity not be lost.
We urge those entrusted with ensuring public safety to pay no heed to those "community activists" laboring under the fatally presumptuous misconception that the community can be safeguarded from recidivist molesters, like Turner, by means other than incarceration, i.e., "community supervision," therapy (compulsory or not), etc.
As long as Turner and others like him are free - our children are not
safe, period.
As you know - to the chagrin of a few vocal bleeding hearts - the
legal responsibility of public servants in your respective positions
is to ensure the safety of the innocent -- not to coddle the perpetrators, or to pander to those "leaders" who selectively urge "compassion" on child-molesters.
We respectfully urge you to reserve your compassion for those who deserve it.
Moreover, Turner's incarceration also will encourage other victims of
his to come forward. Those victims will then realize that their self-sacrifice won't be squandered, as often occurs, due to the "compassion" of those who consistently sabotage the painstaking efforts of idealistic victims, families, activists, and law-enforcement professionals to protect our children from molesters and their enablers.
As you read these words - the NEXT victim of mass-molester Turner is walking around. That youth, whoever he is, has little idea of the horrors that await him -- the pain, the trauma, the wrecked lives of all of those involved.
However, you can - literally - save that NEXT victim of Moishe Turner - today.
The choice is yours, and the time is now.
