Judge Mary Alice Brennan of Delaware County, PA, unethically handed a lenient sentence to animal abuser/killer Anigar Monsee after she was convicted of four counts of aggravated animal cruelty.  The conviction followed her arrest by the Upper Darby Police Department after being accused of torturing animals then posting the videos on YouTube.

Monsee posted videos of herself slowly torturing, mutilating and disemboweling live animals and then severing their necks for several minutes with a dull knife.  A pet rabbit, chicken, frogs and a pigeon were tortured while she sang and begged for likes/engagement before killing them.

The rabbit video included a lengthy period of being held in a sink while it struggled against a dull knife being dragged across its neck for several minutes. The pigeon and chicken were also “live-plucked” of their feathers in separate videos before a dull knife was likewise drawn across their necks for a protracted period of time.

The chicken was eventually crushed to death underfoot as its neck was again sawed at, while the pigeon was held under scalding water until it died.  The frogs were each killed by being cut down their bellies and having their organs removed. Wylesol noted Monsee laughed at their “dancing” as they died.  Despicable acts in the presence of a child.

Crush videos are a Federal Crime; yet Judge Brennan gave only probation, no additional jail time, and no real accountability for the victims of serial animal torturer Anigar Monsee.  A judge must impose a sentence that is sufficient, but not greater than necessary, to: reflect the seriousness of the offense and promote respect for the law.  Judge Brennan failed to honor federal and state animal cruelty laws.

18 U.S. Code § 48 - Animal crushing / PACT Act of 2019
PA - § 5534. Aggravated cruelty to animal

We the petitioners respectfully request Delaware County DA Jack Stollsteimer appeal this decision.  We also request Judge Mary Alice Brennan be held accountable by the Judicial Conduct Board of PA.
