Earth Defense Force is a fantastic game franchise. Hailing from a small independent developer in japan it became a sleeper hit during it's original release as MONSTER ATTACK a small budget title game. 

I am petitioning Sandlot and D3 Publishing as well as Havok to port the newest Rendition of EDF 2025 "EDF 4.1/EDF 2025HD to the PC/STEAM platform. 

EDF 2025 on PS3 and XBOX360 suffered from major slowdown due to dense areas of action and hardware limitations. I feel a PC port could help improve game performance due to the often more powerful graphical capabilities of PC's. As well as the possibility of fixing minor glitches.

EDF 2025 HD would also benefit from a wider audience being exposed to EDF and an overall increase in sales. Insect Armageddon  EDF's spin off is already popular on steam, but to experience EDF 2025 HD online  co-op through PC would be an amazing experience. As console online is very small still and many PC ports of games like Star Wars: Battlefront 2 still have active player bases. A larger community could thrive on PC.
